ENDRUST® Chassis Shield is a professional-grade clear rust and corrosion preventative designed to protect exposed metal surfaces on vehicles, trailers, machinery and industrial equipment. It forms a durable protective barrier against moisture, road salts and environmental contaminants while preserving the natural appearance of the treated surface.

Unlike traditional non-drying cavity waxes, Chassis Shield dries to a firm, low-tack, low-gloss protective film that resists dirt build-up and normal weather exposure. Ideal for chassis rails, suspension components, trailers and exposed steelwork where effective corrosion protection is required without a heavy black coating.

ENDRUST® Chassis Shield is a professional-grade clear corrosion preventative developed for vehicles, trailers, machinery and industrial equipment exposed to demanding Australian conditions.

It forms a durable protective barrier against moisture, road salts and environmental contaminants while preserving the natural appearance of the underlying metal or painted surface.

Unlike traditional cavity waxes that remain soft and continue to creep, Chassis Shield is designed for exposed external surfaces where a firmer, cleaner protective coating is preferred.

Chassis Shield is suitable for vehicle chassis rails, cross-members, floor pans, suspension components, truck and trailer chassis, agricultural machinery, mining equipment and marine trailers.

It may also be used for temporary protection of suitable fabricated steel during storage and transport.

Surface Preparation & Application

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from mud, grease, dirt and loose rust.

Where significant corrosion is present, remove loose rust and consider pretreatment with ENDRUST® RCP150 Rust Converter, Primer & Sealer.

Apply an even coat by brush, roller or suitable spray equipment. A second coat after approximately 4–6 hours is recommended where additional protection is required.

Allow the coating to cure before heavy use or pressure washing.

Chassis Shield is intended for exposed external surfaces. For enclosed cavities requiring a permanently waxy treatment, ENDRUST® ML602 is the more appropriate product.
