ENDRUST® UB702 is a premium two-pack, high-build epoxy coating developed for long-term corrosion protection in demanding automotive, mining, industrial and marine environments.

Forming an extremely hard, tough protective film, UB702 provides outstanding resistance to abrasion, moisture, salt, chemicals and solvents. Its high-build formulation delivers excellent coverage over edges, welds and exposed steelwork, helping protect the areas most vulnerable to corrosion.

UB702 is Endrust’s toughest underbody coating, making it particularly suitable for new 4WDs, commercial vehicles, mining fleets, heavy machinery and equipment operating in aggressive environments.

ENDRUST® UB702 is recommended for:

• 4WDs, commercial vehicles and mining fleets – external underbody, chassis and running gear protection.
• Mining and industrial machinery – heavy equipment, drilling rigs and exploration equipment.
• Marine and coastal equipment – exposed steelwork and equipment operating in salt-laden environments.
• Industrial facilities – structural steel, pipes, tank exteriors and general steelwork.
• Construction and agricultural equipment – durable protection against corrosion and abrasive operating conditions.

UB702 is the primary external underbody coating used in Endrust’s Premium Epoxy Mine Specifications 7, 8 and 9, and can also be selected as a premium upgrade for other suitable applications.

Surface Preparation & Application

For best results, surfaces must be clean, dry and free from oil, grease, loose rust and contamination.

On vehicles, UB702 performs best on sound factory-painted surfaces that have been cleaned and lightly abraded to provide a suitable key. Rusted or bare steel surfaces require appropriate preparation before coating.

UB702 is designed for external underbody, running gear and chassis surfaces. It should not be applied over bituminous, wax-based or other soft coatings. For Endrust vehicle treatment systems, internal chassis rails are treated separately with ENDRUST® UB302B.

UB702 may be used as a standalone protective coating or topcoated where required. When exposed to exterior weathering without a topcoat, some surface chalking may occur without affecting the coating’s protective performance.
