Privacy Policy
Endrust Australia (“Endrust”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and your choices. It applies to endrust.com.au and to the services provided by Endrust and our network of Certified Applicators. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect and why
Quote requests and enquiries. When you ask for a quote or contact us, we collect your name, contact details, location and vehicle details. We use these to respond to you and, where you ask for a quote, to send your request to the Endrust Certified Applicator nearest you so they can contact you.
Online orders. When you buy from our online shop, we collect your name, contact details, delivery address and order details. Card payments are processed securely by our payment providers; Endrust does not store your full card number. We use your details to fulfil and deliver your order, bill you, and contact you if there is a problem.
Trade accounts. If you have a trade or account customer login, we store your business and contact details so you can order, view your account and manage your details.
Treatment registrations. When an Endrust treatment is applied to your vehicle, by an Endrust Certified Applicator, at Endrust Perth, or through our registration form, we record:
- your name, contact details and address;
- your vehicle details;
- the treatments applied, the date, and the applicator.
We use these details to:
- issue your registration number and Certificate of Application;
- support your treatment and warranty;
- send the service reminders described below.
We keep them for as long as your treatment and warranty apply.
Service reminders and follow-up emails
Endrust treatments need a regular service to stay effective, so we send registered customers an annual service reminder. We may also ask how your treatment experience was, or invite you to leave a review. Every reminder and follow-up email has an unsubscribe link, and you can stop them at any time. Unsubscribing does not affect your registration or warranty records.
Marketing
We may send you information about Endrust products, services and offers. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email, or by contacting us.
Emails we send
Emails from our website, such as order confirmations, Certificates of Application, service reminders and replies to enquiries, are sent through our Microsoft 365 email service, with a Google Gmail account used as a backup. Some of these emails include a small image that tells us whether the email was opened. We use this only to check that our emails are being received, not for advertising. You can prevent it by turning off automatic image loading in your email program.
Who we share your information with
We only share personal information where needed to provide our products and services:
- Endrust Certified Applicators and dealers: your quote request, and the registration details for work they carry out.
- Our related businesses: Beam Rustproofing and Endrust Perth, where they carry out or register your treatment.
- Service providers: payment processing, delivery couriers, website hosting and email services. They may use your information only to provide that service to us.
- Authorities: where required by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
Website analytics and cookies
We use website analytics, including Google Analytics and our own website statistics, to understand how our website is used and to improve it. These use cookies and IP addresses to gather general information about visits, such as pages viewed and how visitors found us. Our website also uses cookies so that essential features like the shopping cart, checkout and account login work. You can turn cookies off in your browser, but some parts of the website may not work without them.
Embedded content
Some pages include content from other websites, such as videos or maps. That content behaves as if you visited the other website, which may collect data about you under its own privacy policy.
How we protect your information
Our website uses secure (SSL) connections. Access to your personal information is limited to the staff and applicators who need it to do their job, and our systems are protected by security measures and monitoring.
Data breaches
If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
How long we keep your information
We keep registration records for as long as your treatment and warranty apply. We keep order and account records for as long as needed for our business and legal obligations, including tax records. We delete or de-identify other information when it is no longer needed.
Access, correction and your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or update it, at any time. You can unsubscribe from reminders and marketing using the link in any email. If you believe we have not handled your information properly, please contact us and we will look into it promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page.
